At Footrix Podiatry you will find everything you need to know about feet. We aim to provide the best care and management in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions in the feet and lower limbs. We work closely with other health professionals to ensure the best quality of care is given at all times.

Dana Standring
Director/Senior Podiatrist

I grew up in the small western NSW town of Cobar. I have a passion for regional/rural health.

After finishing school at Kinross Wolaroi in Orange, I graduated from Podiatry at Charles Sturt University - Albury Campus in 2010. During my career, I have been lucky enough to work in many environments including; nursing homes / retirement villages, private practice, high risk foot clinics, Aboriginal health and outreach clinics.

I enjoy all aspects of Podiatry but have a keen interest in Diabetes foot care and also children’s feet. I am passionate about our clinic and enjoy forming relationships with my patients. Really; you could say that keeping people on their feet is my passion!

When I am not at work I enjoy one or two netball games and ‘drinking Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain’. I also LOVE wearing my Frankie4’s wherever I go!

podiatrist

I grew up playing a lot of sport, and experienced my fair share of foot injuries. This sparked my interest in lower limb anatomy and sports medicine from a young age, leading me to complete a Bachelor of Podiatry at Newcastle University. During my studies I completed a placement at Footrix Podiatry. I quickly realised two weeks in Orange wasn’t going to be enough, and have recently made the move from Sydney to join the Footrix team.

When I’m not working you can find me out on the touch football field, coaching gymnastics or enjoying a cheese platter. I am also currently completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) with the University of Sydney.

I can’t wait to see more of Orange and I love creating a working relationship with all of my patients!

Sue
Reception

I’m the receptionist/practice manager/gopher/cuppa maker at Footrix Podiatry.

I am new to Orange, after moving from western NSW and I’m enjoying the Orange lifestyle. I adore my family and love having time with them, they are my world…and I am lucky enough to have wonderful friends in Orange.

Since moving to Orange I have discovered the monthly Saturday markets, lots of foodie events, coffee shops and a wonderful patchwork sewing group. I like to have a glass of Pimms on special occasions (like Fridays and the weekends)! I’m lucky enough to have a job that makes me happy and I look forward to meeting you.

Podiatrist

I studied a Bachelor Podiatry at Charles Sturt University in Albury. I am born and raised in Young and I am so excited to be able to return home and bring my skills and knowledge back with me. One of my greatest achievements in life is being a mum to my beautiful son Jackson and wife to my husband Bobby.

One of my biggest passions in life is my work as a Podiatrist. I am known for my empathetic and caring nature and ability to achieve great results for my patients. I’m lucky enough to be in a profession where no day is the same and I get to help people of all ages from newborns to elderly.

I really enjoy talking to and treating your everyday real men/women and solving real life problems in the foot and ankle. Education plays a huge role in my management plans to ensure patients can make good foot health decisions and understand their treatment options.
